As part of its function to promote the profession of teaching, the Institute will be an exhibitor at two forthcoming career expos: the National Careers & Employment Expo 5-6 May and the Herald Sun Careers Expo 28-30 July.

The Institute was also an exhibitor at the The Age VCE and Careers Expo 21-23 April. More than 20,000 visited the Expo with Institute staff providing information and distributing material to students and their parents about a career in teaching. As part of the expo seminar program, Carolyn Clancy, Council Member and primary teacher, and Damien Toussaint, a secondary teacher, spoke to an audience of students and their families about why they loved teaching.
