We remind you that its time to log in to your MyVIT account to complete your registration tasks, hear some tips for EC mentors and PRTs, outline the returning from non-practising registration process and share some ideas on how you can provide evidence of your professional development.

In our latest video / podcast series, we explore a tricky situation where a teacher has an encounter with a student at the local pub and discuss issues that teachers need to consider when using social media.

Watching and reflecting on these can contribute towards PD hours for registration renewal.

Here are some thought starters for your reflection.
  1. After watching / listening, reflect on how you establish appropriate relationships and professional boundaries with your learners.
  2. From the information presented
    • how does it connect with what you already know?
    • how have your ideas / thinking changed or extended in new directions?
    • What aspects of this still challenge you?
  3. Where could you go to access additional resources or information?
We still want to hear about the outstanding work in your school or early childhood setting. Email us your stories of teaching and learning excellence and you could feature on the VIT website.
