CRT networks provide an opportunity for CRTs to connect with a supportive and like-minded group of colleagues. These networks were originally established with the support of VIT and continue to operate on a voluntary basis around metropolitan and regional Victoria.
CRT networks provide relevant and practical professional learning for members as well as a community for CRTs to connect with other teachers working in a similar context. Some networks communicate online and many take the opportunity to regularly meet face-to-face. CRT networks can provide an ideal place for beginning teachers to connect with, and gain support from, more experienced colleagues working in the same context.
If you are interested in joining an existing CRT Network, click herefor the contact details of your local network.
If you are thinking of setting up a network in your area and require guidance, please email Hannah.Galloway@vit.vic.edu.au.
CRT Support Survey
VIT is aware many CRTs feel the need for more support and recognition of their specific needs. That’s why we’ve created VIT CRT Support.
If you are working as a CRT (casual relief, emergency, relieving and relief teachers) and are yet to complete this survey, or did not get our email, we encourage you to help us by completing the survey now.
