In September, the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission and the Department of Education and Training will present workshops on how your school can develop a culture of inclusive education.
The free t raining will assist teachers to understand their legal obligations under the Victorian Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities (The Charter) and to use a human rights approach to diversity and inclusion to create inclusive schools environments for the benefit of learners, their families and school staff.
Download a brochure PDF, 547.16 KB for more information and booking details for the free workshops for principals and school staff.
More information on how to build a positive climate for learning through a human rights approach can be found on the Department of Education and Training website.
