Is your child moving from kinder to primary school? Do you want to know what
your options are, including full and supported inclusion for your child in a
mainstream school?
Are you an educator who wants to understand more about how children with
additional needs can be supported through the Victorian Government's Inclusive
Education policy?
The information forum (funded by the NDIA) and delivered in conjunction with the Department of Education is especially designed for parents, carers and educators of children with additional learning needs who are transitioning from:
- kinder to primary
- primary to secondary.
All children have their own specific needs and there is no one size fits all approach. This 2-hour online forum will provide information about the education options for children with additional needs, rights as parents and students, and how best to advocate for a what a child needs.
