Transition to new system and annual registration
The VIT has moved to one registration platform for all teachers, early childhood teachers and their employers to manage their registration requirements.
We are pleased to announce that the new system is now live. The new system will improve the way VIT interacts with teachers and their employers and provide a better user experience through self-service registration activities and paperless applications.
Annual registration period has commenced
Teachers and early childhood teachers can login to their MyVIT account to complete their annual registration tasks.
Your new username is the email address listed on VIT’s system. If this is your first time logging into your MyVIT account since 27 July 2020, you will need to create a new password by clicking on 'Forgot your password?'. This will prompt you to enter your username (i.e. the email address VIT has listed on file).
You will receive an email with a reset password link - it is important that you only click on the link once. The email may take up to 2 hours to receive - ensure you check your junkmail folder. Please note: the link will expire within 24 hours.
If you cannot remember your password, and do not have access to the email address you set up your account with, please contact us.
We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome.
Invoices have now been issued (via post and email) to most teachers. The invoice contains instructions on how to access the new system and a guide on how to complete the annual registration process. Note: if you have already completed your tasks by the time your invoice arrives in the mail, you can disregard it.
You don't need your invoice to complete your annual registration tasks. To commence the process, select the 'Complete annual registration tasks' button at the top of your MyVIT account homepage.
The answers to most of your questions can be found in the frequently asked questions section of our website. We regularly update these, so it is a great place to start your enquiry.
We experience high call volumes during this time and recommend you email us with your query.
To request a copy of previous invoices for tax-purposes, please email us.
If you have been impacted by COVID-19 and cannot meet your registration requirements, you will have the opportunity to advise VIT as part of your annual registration tasks. Simply login to your MyVIT account and select the 'complete annual registration tasks' button.

We receive a large volume of enquiries approaching the annual registration due date. It is best to contact us as soon as possible if you require any assistance.
To minimise your wait time, the best times to contact VIT are 9am-11am and 2pm-4pm.
