Reconciliation Australia's celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The Narragunnawaki Awards are reflecting on milestones in Australia's reconciliation journey, as well as looking ahead to our next steps.The theme for the year is More than a word. Reconciliation takes action, urging the reconciliation movement towards braver and more impactful action.
Your school or early learning service could be nationally recognised for your reconciliation in education initiatives, rewarded with a $10,000 cash prize as well as media and promotional opportunities.
Who can apply
Any school or early learning service can apply for a Narragunnawali Award but the school or early learning service needs to have a published Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) when the application is submitted. If you haven’t yet developed a RAP, you can do so Narragunnawali.org.au.
A Narragunnawali webinar is a great way to hear stories from guest speakers, and engage with core insights around reconciliation in education, no matter where you are! Narragunnawali webinars are free and registration is simple.
