Please note: Under the new national standards, graduate entry initial teacher education programs must be a minimum of TWO years full-time equivalent. Although Victorian higher education providers will continue to offer one-year graduate entry programs until 2016, from 2017 they will only offer two-year graduate entry initial teacher education programs.
One-year graduate entry initial teacher education qualifications (plus a three-year undergraduate degree) WILL CONTINUE to be accepted by the Institute for the purposes of teacher registration into the foreseeable future.
