PTT (VET) applicants must meet the relevant requirements of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 (or its successor).  

PTT (VET) applicants must hold the qualification they will be delivering or higher. 

They must also hold either a

• currently valid Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116 or TAE40122) or
• diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training.

PTT (VET) holders are not required to progress toward teacher registration and therefore do not need to undertake an initial teacher education qualification.

To receive a further grant of PTT (VET), applicants are required to complete professional development, industry engagement and professional practice in accordance with the plan submitted as part of their previous application.
