Teachers who want to learn more about specific education topics or work in a specialist teaching area may consider undertaking a continuing education program.
Continuing education program endorsement
The VIT has recently developed the criteria for the endorsement of continuing education programs. As part of this, a limited number of pilot programs have been endorsed. The VIT intends to begin endorsing other programs in late 2024.
Please note, the below is not an exhaustive list of all available continuing education programs.
Continuing education programs do not need to be endorsed for teachers to use the program as part of their renewal of registration requirements.
Visit the Professional learning page for more information on registered teachers’ professional learning requirements.
