If you have an expiry date later than 31 December and fail to complete your annual registration requirements, you will be suspended and you will be removed from the register of teachers. 

This could apply to you if you hold permission to teach (PTT) or provisional registration.

If you are suspended, you cannot undertake the duties of a teacher. You can apply to have the suspension revoked through your MyVIT account if you complete the outstanding requirements and provide a satisfactory written explanation for your failure to complete these by the due date.
