Early Childhood Australia National Conference 2022

The Early Childhood Australia (ECA) National Conference is one of the most eagerly anticipated events for early childhood educators across Australia. The conference will be held in Canberra over three days from Wednesday 5 - Saturday 8 October.

This year's theme "Passion to power: Our future profession" will consider how educators can move beyond being viewed as ‘essential workers’ and position themselves as real thought leaders.

Victorian early childhood educators can join leading experts from Australia and overseas to learn the latest in early childhood. With sessions on everything from learning environments, sustainability and educator wellbeing to leadership and reconciliation, and more, participants will leave with dozens of ideas to improve their practice and advance their career.

Conference presentations will be aligned to one or more of the following themes

VIT Professional Practice Manager, Linda Blakis, will be in attendance at the conference and co-presenting with NSW Education Standards Authority on "Embracing the teaching profession: Teacher registration and accreditation."
