End-to-End Career Supports Program launched for early career ECTs
Early childhood teachers (ECTs) can access new support opportunities through the Victorian Government.
The End-to-End Career Supports Program provides funded professional support to ECTs and diploma-qualified educators in the 2nd to 5th year of their careers working in the funded kindergarten program.
The End-to-End program's Community of Practice (COP) provides an opportunity for early career ECTs and educators to:
- continue their development of high-quality practice aligned to the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework,
- explore problems of practice and connect with other early childhood professionals who share a common concern, a set of problems, or an interest in a topic
- come together to fulfil both individual and group goals, and to support the development of high-quality practice.
Each COP is made up of a series of 4 two-hour sessions with 2–3 weeks in between. This enables participants to test new strategies or learnings in between sessions and share reflections, modifications or successes at the following session.
Backfill
A contribution to backfill to cover 4 half days is available to eligible attendees who attend in person CoPs.
