Mentoring for provisionally registered early childhood teachers
Gowrie Victoria is a leader in early childhood education. In addition to running six early learning services across Melbourne, Gowrie offer a range of learning initatives that focus on building and improving the quality of early childhood in Victoria.
With support from the Department of Education, Gowrie Victoria is offering mentoring to assist provisionally registered early childhood teachers to reach their full registration.
The program lasts around three to five months and includes three onsite observation and reflection sessions.
The program includes:
- an initial meeting with an experienced mentor
- support to develop a question for your Inquiry and implement an Action Plan
- three practice observation and reflection sessions onsite at your service
- ongoing support to review Inquiry Project progress.
Applications are now open for cohort 1, commencing in July/August 2024.
