Digital professionalism webinars

Explore how you can maintain professional boundaries and provide for the safety and wellbeing of children in a digital environment by booking into a Digital professionalism and safety online webinar.

As Victoria continues to deal with the impacts of COVID 19, schools and other education settings have transitioned to remote learning models in order to support learning continuity for children and young people. Remote learning may include virtual classrooms and video-conferencing as well as communicating with learners via telephone, email and by post, and should only take place in channels authorised by the education setting.

To support teachers working in remote learning environments, VIT has developed Digital professionalism and safety online webinars.

The webinars will explore

  • using the Victorian Teaching Profession’s Code of Conduct to guide professional conduct and practice;
  • maintaining professionalism in a digital environment;
  • maintaining professional boundaries in a digital environment; and
  • providing for child safety and wellbeing in a digital environment.
