This is a list of VIT accredited initial teacher education (ITE) programs in Victoria. Successfully completing one of these programs will enable graduates to apply for teacher registration with VIT.

FYI

Please note - if a provider has made an application for accreditation for an existing program, the approval is taken to be current until an accreditation decision has been made.

Those who wish to teach in an early childhood setting must hold an early childhood education qualification approved or recognised by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). Programs listed below including Early Childhood and Primary have been approved by ACECQA.
