The Early Childhood Beginning Teacher Conferences (BTCs) will be returning from Monday 20 May 2024. 

Participation is fully funded and open to early childhood teachers (ECTs) in their first year of practice and 2024 early childhood education graduates working in the services with a funded kindergarten program.

The program is designed to enable beginning early childhood teachers to explore the latest research on relevant topics through thought-provoking presentations and engaging deep-dive discussions with their peers. BTCs also offer valuable evidence-based insights from accomplished early childhood leaders inspiring stories applicable to teaching practice, as well as an opportunity to build professional networks with peers.

Each program will be delivered in person and online to ensure the program can be accessed by participants across the state.

The conferences will be held between 9.00am - 3.30pm on the following dates and locations:

• 20 May 2024 – Academy Presentation Hall, 41 St Andrews Place, East Melbourne 
• 12 June 2024– Online Delivery
• 12 July 2024 – Academy presentation Hall, 41 St Andrews Place, East Melbourne
• 28 August 2024 – Online Delivery
• 12 September 2024– Online Delivery 
• 31 October 2024– Academy Presentation Hall, 41 St Andrews Place, East Melbourne
