National and State reforms in teacher education have strengthened entry standards into initial teacher education programs. This means that students seeking entry into courses that qualify them to teach will need to meet academic standards and demonstrate they possess personal attributes that fit them for teaching.
During the next term students will be applying for entry into Victorian initial teacher education programs.
Selection into a program will be based on both academic and non-academic attributes.
