Australia’s largest education focused event – the National FutureSchools Expo - is coming to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre over 23 – 24 March 2017.
The Minister for Education, the Hon. James Merlino, recently announced Excellence in Teacher Education reforms to attract and develop the best and brightest teachers to Victoria.
The Excellence in Teacher Education reforms are about selecting and supporting the best new entrants into Victorian teaching programs.
In 2016 90% of the 126,000 Victorian teachers submitted their online tasks by the deadline of 30 September. This is an increase on last year’s figures, particularly among the teachers who were due for their five yearly National Police History Check.
