    On World Teachers' Day, 28 October, the annual Victorian Education Excellence Awards were presented by Minister for Education James Merlino to a group of truly deserving teachers and schools. VIT CEO Melanie Saba was on the judging panel for these awards, which celebrate the life-changing work of education professionals in government schools.
