Celebrating Catholic Education
Catholic Education Week is an opportunity for all Catholic schools across Victoria to celebrate their identity, the strength of the sector, and the pivotal role they play within their local communities.
The Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools are observing Catholic Education Week from 15 March to 22 March with the theme, Christ beside me: Walking in the footsteps of Saint Patrick.
Key events during the week include:
- 15-21 March - Creative Arts Exhibition
- 20 March - Mass of St Patrick for Schools, followed by the Concert in the Park and Young Speakers Colloquium
The Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Ltd are celebrating Catholic Education Week from 25 May to 29 May, inviting their communities to reflect on the theme, Peace be with you all (Romans 15:33).
Throughout the week, schools will host liturgies, student showcases, community events and learning activities that celebrate Catholic identity, strengthen connection and honour the many contributions of educators. Catholic Education Week continues to be a valued opportunity to recognise the shared purpose that unites Victoria’s Catholic school communities.
