Eleven outstanding Victorian teachers have been recognised in Australia's Best Teachers 2026, a national initiative by News Corp that celebrates educators making an exceptional difference in their classrooms, schools and communities.

Now in its fourth year, the campaign highlights the passion, innovation and dedication teachers bring to their profession every day.

The initiative recognises educators whose impact extends beyond academic achievement. These teachers support student wellbeing, inclusion, engagement and lifelong learning, helping young people thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

The series is not an industry awards program or a popularity contest. Instead, it shines a light on the remarkable contribution teachers make to the lives of children and young people across Australia.

This year's Victorian recipients represent government, Catholic and independent schools from metropolitan and regional communities across the state.

The recipients were recognised for a wide range of contributions to education. Their work includes curriculum innovation, educational leadership, inclusive teaching practices, digital learning, STEM engagement and student wellbeing initiatives.

Together, these educators demonstrate the positive difference dedicated teachers can make in the lives of students, families and school communities.
