The Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) is proud to sponsor the Victorian Student Representative Council (VicSRC) Congress 2026, as part of our commitment to strengthening connections between students, teachers and the broader education community.

Congress is VicSRC's flagship student-led event, bringing together secondary students from across Victoria to share their experiences, explore new ideas and help shape the future of education.

The event marks the final stop of VicSRC's 20th Anniversary Road Trip Tour and celebrates two decades of student voice and advocacy in Victorian education.

For 20 years, Congress has provided a statewide platform for students to contribute to conversations about educa
tion and influence change. 

This year’s event will give students the opportunity to pitch ideas, collaborate with their peers and identify key priorities that will help inform VicSRC's research and advocacy over the coming year.

Alongside the student program, Congress will also feature professional learning opportunities for teachers and school staff focused on strengthening student voice, agency and leadership in schools.
