Victorian teachers shine at National Education Summit Teacher Awards
Two Victorian teachers have been recognised for their outstanding contribution to education at the 2026 National Education Summit Teacher Awards, announced at the National Education Summit held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The National Education Summit Teacher Awards celebrate educators who go above and beyond to inspire students, support colleagues and shape the future of education. Awards are presented in two categories: Innovation in Teaching and Outstanding Leadership.
The Victorian Institute of Teaching congratulates registered Victorian teachers Ella Clifton from Casey Grammar School and Gus (Angus) Humphries from Caulfield Grammar School, who were named winners in their respective categories.
Innovation in Teaching Award
Ella Clifton - Casey Grammar School
Ella Clifton received the Innovation in Teaching Award, recognising her commitment to creative teaching practices that engage students, respond to diverse learning needs and contribute to positive learning outcomes.
Outstanding Leadership Award
Gus (Angus) Humphries - Caulfield Grammar School
Gus (Angus) Humphries was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award in recognition of his exceptional leadership, vision and positive impact on students, colleagues and the broader school community.
