Department of Education job platform renamed to School Jobs Vic

The Department of Education’s recruitment platform for school jobs, formerly known as Recruitment Online, has been renamed to School Jobs Vic. The platform's 'Job Opportunities Pool' has also been updated, and is now found under the 'Applicant Pool'.

This change took place on Monday 17 February 2025 and while the platform name has changed, the functionality for school recruiters and applicants remains the same.

School Jobs Vic offers a wide range of employment opportunities in Victorian government schools. You can filter jobs based on your preferences, such as location, experience and the type of role you’re after, helping you find positions that truly align with what you’re looking for.

About the Applicant Pool

The Applicant Pool is a streamlined and efficient way for applicants to connect with school recruiters. Applicants can create a profile, add their CV/Resume and Cover Letter, and list preferences such as location, year levels and subjects. School recruiters can access applicants’ profiles and consider them for positions in their school.

The Applicant Pool has an auto-matching function for classroom teaching vacancies (including graduate). School recruiters can post a 3-day direct vacancy (classroom teacher) where applicants will be automatically matched based on their preferences such as location, year levels and subjects.

Visit School Jobs Vic to join the Applicant Pool.
