End-to-End Career Supports Program launched for early career ECTs
The End-to-End Career Supports Program provides funded professional support to ECTs and diploma-qualified educators in the second to fifth year of their careers working in the funded kindergarten program.
The program's Community of Practice (COP) provides an opportunity for early career ECTs and educators to
- continue their development of high-quality practice aligned to the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework
- explore problems of practice and connect with other early childhood professionals who share a common concern, a set of problems, or an interest in a topic
- come together to fulfil both individual and group goals, and to support the development of high-quality practice.
Each COP is made up of a series of four two-hour sessions with two to three weeks in between. This enables participants to test new strategies or learnings in between sessions and share reflections, modifications or successes at the following session.
Backfill
A contribution to backfill to cover four half days is available to eligible attendees who attend in person CoPs.
