ITE provider survey results

Explore feedback from initial teacher education (ITE) providers.

In October 2024, a satisfaction survey was sent to key staff from Victorian ITE providers with a view of gathering and utilising feedback on VIT’s processes, communications and actions.

The survey closely resembled the questions asked in 2023 to generate comparable data. The results allow VIT to closely monitor feedback and measure the relevance of Accreditation related resources.

The feedback remained overwhelmingly positive, particularly in relation to VIT’s communication and support.

91%

of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that VIT’s communication with providers is clear, targeted, timely and effective

100%

of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that VIT has been proactive in communicating information regarding national reform in ITE e.g. recommendations arising from the Teacher Education Expert Panel (TEEP) report

100%

of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that VIT provides sufficient advice and support for providers to meet their regulatory obligations and requirements

90%

of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that VIT is open, transparent and consistent about its regulatory actions and dealings with providers

100%

of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that VIT consults (where appropriate) on matters that impact providers

Written feedback was also overwhelmingly positive, with VIT’s Accreditation staff described as ‘professional’, ‘clear’, ‘approachable’, ‘timely’, ‘supportive’, and ‘proactive’.

Thank you to all who participated in the 2024 survey. The VIT Accreditation team value your feedback and will review processes and resources accordingly to ensure they're meeting your ongoing needs.
